Functions   Help for the lists, legend

Find number: Lists all IC- types having a number after the prefix exactly corresponding with the input.
Please input a digit on the first place! Digits or letters are allowed for the following places, but not any other characters.
This function is also used to start the download of a partial type-list before using other functions concerning this list. Please input the first digit and click the start button.
The bottom selection (actual / all lists) is out of function for Find Number except if the last button is activated. In this case the result of the previous search (as you can see in the right frame) is the object of the operation.

Find prefix: Lists all IC- types having the first Letter/ digit- group exactly identical as the input. This works even if your understanding of the prefix length differs from the used one in the list. Please don't input others than letters and digits! The small u is used as the greec MY (micro, examples uA, uPC, uPD). All others are uppercase.

Find total: The input letter/ digit- group is analysed and automatically tested. This uses both possible combinations of prefix and number if the input has two groups of digits separated by letters. Please input a letter on the first place! The bottom selection is used as with Find Number!

Find regular: If you know the JavaScipt Regular Expressions you can enter your question directly to the input area. Please omit the slash characters marking the beginn and the end of the expression! The list has typenumbers without space between prefix and number. Spaces are added for the output only, for prefix- and number- columns. Therefore often different expressions are needed, for a search from the lists other than for a search from the result of the previous search.

Easy using Find Regular

If you input a letter/ digit- group the program will list all rows of the typelist having the input somewhere in the row. Example:
HC05C4 does not success using Find Total, because there is neither listing at the place 05 nor at 4. Find Regular brings the solve:
MC 68HC05C4 . This is a seldom kind of type having three groups of digits.

Using the dot for an unknown character. Example:
^.LH12.._
The character ^ means: The following character (unknown character in this example) is the first one in the list-row. The _ at the end is the separation- symbol as used in the typelist. Without .._ you will receive all types of different length. With .._ the types in the result have a length of 4 digits (Types ELH1234, QLH1299, ...)

Bottom selection group

in actual list: The parts (..0 to ..9) of the typelist are downloaded if neaded. You can see the actual list on the right side, on the top of the result frame. If you wish to use Find prefix or Find regular with an other partial list, please enter the digit and start Find number - even if the result does'nt interest.

in all lists: This action takes a lot of time because of the download of >2.5 MBs !

in the result of the previous search: This function is useful if the result is bigger than expected and if you wish to apply a further question. In this function, the contents of the result-window are used instead of the database. Contents including your added or edited changes are used from the input/output window.

Right side

On the top you can see the actual loaded list (...0 bis ...9)

Result... Save as : If you save the frame using the standard function of the browser the result is the original HTML as downloaded. If you wish to save the contents of the result- frame please click the button SaveAs ! This converts the window and alerts if ready for the save as text. Now please click in the right frame, open the context menu and choose Save Frame (Not Save Site or Window!!) as TEXT (Not as HTML!!). If your browser does'nt offer this function you can open the frame source and save the source.
